From some negative comments, that art teacher Joan was probably just a Flag Hag in college, but I bet she tried out for the school mascot, whose nickname coincidentally was The Screaming Eagles. Unfortunately she lost all chances of being chosen after the football coach found out she was practicing on the football team and that was why they had no energy or stamina left for the big game, which they lost 56-0.
