Damn Pirate, your S.O.S. sounds like a gourmet delicacy! Yeah, it's always meant chipped beef in a cream sauce. I now use S.O.S. for any kind of leftover meat, diced up and cooked in a white sauce. Serve over toast.

Scar Face, your right, but I've had is served both ways (s.o.s. that is), and also seen it with white gravy instead of light brown. Either way beats corned beef and hash any morning in my book. Thanks.
